This sales tax applies to all sales of goods within EagleVail as well as all short-term rentals within EagleVail. Any property owners who rents their residence on a short-term basis (any period of less than 30 days) must collect and remit the sales tax to the State of Colorado. Some services, such as Airbnb or property managers, may collect and remit taxes on the owners’ behalf; however, it is ultimately the home owner’s responsibility to ensure proper collection of taxes. The State has the authority to audit for the proper administration of sales tax. Failure to collect and remit taxes can result in penalties and interest. If you have questions regarding licensing or remittance of taxes, please contact the Colorado Department of Revenue at 303-238-7378. For general sales tax questions, please contact Jon Erickson at 970-926-6060 ext. 101 or jon@mwcpaa.com. EVMD Sales Tax Information The Courts at EagleVail are now OPEN! Print
