I am a Colorado native and grew up in the Vail Valley. My parents built a house in Vail in 1965. I have watched EagleVail transform from fields to a community of year-round recreation. Spending time enjoying the outdoors has always been a major part of my life. My passion for snowsports ultimately led me to a career in the ski industry, holding many management positions in the ski industry. My wife, daughter and I have lived in EagleVail since 1996 and witnessed it become the community it is today.
The EVMD offers exceptional services that provide unequaled amenities rarely found in Eagle County. It has become a popular place to live, work and play. I would like to advocate for the EagleVail residents in the planning, improving, and preserving of EagleVail as it continues to grow and serve residents and visitors.
I have held many leadership positions over the past 25 years. I have always enjoyed the rewards and challenges that come from leading others, by sharing my knowledge and helping evaluate and guide favorable outcomes. I have experience on boards both corporate and non-profit. I have a reputation for being comfortable sharing my thoughts, taking a collaborative approach, and ensuring successful decision-making.
I am a people person and have experience with budgets and financial reports from working for Vail Resorts, I also held the position of Chairman of the Finance Committee on a previous board. I am well-connected and can draw upon my relationships with community leaders, business owners, and residents of the valley.
I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter and participating in valley activities such as skiing (Alpine and Cross County) golfing, hiking, and biking. We are fortunate to live in an area that offers such wonderful recreational activities right outside our back door.
