Tell us a little bit about yourself
I’ve loved living in Eagle-Vail since moving here 25 years ago. I’m drawn to the strong sense of community, access to the outdoors, and the unique character of each corner of the neighborhood. My husband and I are raising our two children (ages 10 and 7) here, along with our dog, Cooper.
We’ve lived in several parts of Eagle-Vail—from the west loop of Deer Boulevard to Riverside Court and now the east side of Whiskey Hill—which has given me a broad perspective on the community and its needs.
For the past 15 years, I’ve worked with Eagle County Paramedic Services, first as a paramedic and now as Operations Manager. Public service and community involvement are central to who I am.
Why do you want to join the EVMD Board of Directors?
I’m running for re-election to continue the work we’ve started during my first term. I’ve focused on improving communication with residents and expanding winter recreation options like Nordic skiing and ice skating. I want to continue building a vibrant, safe, and inclusive Eagle-Vail.
What are some of your past leadership experiences?
In addition to serving on the Metro District Board, I’m part of the Traffic Calming Committee, working to improve pedestrian and cyclist safety.
At Eagle County Paramedics, I’ve served as a paramedic, crew supervisor, and now Operations Manager, overseeing daily operations and leading a team of 60+ staff. I bring experience in crisis response, team development, and strategic planning. My background in special district governance has directly informed my work on the board.
What skills, resources, and expertise will you bring to the EVMD?
I bring strong skills in communication, budgeting, public service, and team leadership, along with a clear understanding of how special districts operate.
What are your interests and/or hobbies?
I love mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and swimming at the pool with my kids—right here in our incredible backyard.
