The Community of EagleVail is home to 7 different parks uniquely positioned throughout the community. There are more than 15 acres of open space for kids and grownups alike to enjoy during the summer including the newly renovated Mikaela's Park. This custom designed playground features a large play area that includes a climbing net, bouldering rock, multiple structures, climbers, slides and swings that are meant to challenge kids of all ages. The park also has restrooms, field space and is just feet from the community pool and Pavilion. All of our parks are open to the public and are the perfect location for a family picnic or party.

The Community of EagleVail offers a multitude of recreational amenities including a perfectly manicured soccer field and a traditional style baseball field with dugouts, grass infield and a balcony styled gazebo for spectators. Our fields are also used for a variety of other activities included lacrosse, micro-soccer, flag football, volleyball and kickball tournaments. Uniquely positioned in the eastside of the EagleVail Community lies the best kept secret in the valley. This amenity, better known to locals as the “’Pavilion Pond and Beach” offers users a wide variety of recreational opportunities including kayaking, stand up paddleboarding and fishing. The beautiful white sand beach offers zero entry to the water and provides the perfect backdrop for family picnics, birthday parties, or if you just want to bathe in the Colorado sun. There is also a small grill and fire pit for grilling out and/or roasting marshmallows. The Pavilion Pond and Beach are truly hidden gems and a must see when visiting the valley. Other adjacent amenities include bicycle Pump Track, Mikaela's Park and the EagleVail Pool. The EagleVail Metro District is currently seeking proposals to evaluate the east end recreational amenities and to develop a plan for future needs. These amenities include the Par 3 golf course, the park around the pavilion area, as well as the soccer and baseball fields located adjacent to the Homestake Peak School. The Metro District is looking for a partner with demonstrated experience in developing parks, recreation, and golf master planning through a process of active public engagement. Slacklining Rules and Regulations
The EagleVail Metropolitan District has established the following rules to provide a safe environment for participants, the community, and to protect trees from any hazardous condition or damage from ties/ropes. These rules and regulations regarding Slacklining must be strictly adhered to while participating in this sport on District property. Failure to adhere to these polices may result in being removed from the park and confiscation of equipment.
■ Participants and spectators assume all risks associated with slackline activities.
■ Slackline equipment is only to be affixed to trees 12 inches or greater in diameter and at no time should any cabling, wires or lines be in direct contact with the bark of the tree.
■ Slackline equipment can only be connected between trees; equipment cannot be affixed to signs, poles, fencing, buildings, playground equipment or any other park structures.
■ Trees must be properly padded to eliminate damage. Suggested material should be at least ¼ inch thick including towels, carpet squares, blankets or foam padding.
■ Trees must not incur damage in any way, including no cutting of branches, scraping of bark, or use of screws or nails to affix equipment.
■ Any damage to trees and/or landscape resulting from any slacklining activity due to participant’s negligence, improper set-up, reckless or careless activity, or failure to adhere to these rules may result in participant liability and incur all costs associated with restoration of District property as well as restriction from future use.
■ No slacklines over 50 feet are allowed.
■ Slacklines may not be elevated to a height of more than 4 feet at the center of the span when the user is on the line and weighting it.
■ Slacklines must not obstruct intended uses of a park’s sidewalks, playgrounds, buildings, roads, fences, light poles, etc., and/or restrict the use of the park by other users.
■ Slacklines are not allowed across District ponds and waterways.
■ Slacklining is only permitted during daylight hours between sunrise and sunset. Activities may be cancelled at the discretion of authorized Metro District employees due to poor weather and visibility conditions, or any other reason considered to create a possible safety issue.
■ Slackline equipment must be attended to at all times. Any unattended equipment will be considered abandoned property and disposed of accordingly.
■ Metro District employees have the authority to stop slacklining activities and request immediate removal from the park if any slackline guidelines, park rules, permit regulations, or unauthorized use are not adhered to by participants and/or spectators.
