Throughout the entire year EagleVail offers residents and guests an extraordinary network of trails. Running, hiking, biking, Nordic skiing and much more!
Uniquely positioned above the valley floor the EagleVail Trail is truly a recreational gem in the community. This trail offers spectacular views and varied terrain. This 2.5 mile intermediate singletrack is opened year around. The path goes in and out of the woods just above the 18 hole golf course. Overall, the EagleVail Trail is an easy intermediate trail and can be accessed from several different points within the community including the Whiskey Creek Trailhead and Paulie’s Plunge.
The EagleVail Community has a variety of Nordic Trail Systems right here in our own backyard and are a great place to get out and enjoy some of that Colorado powder. Situated along the 18 hole golf course, the EagleVail Nordic Trail provides more than 8K of groomed and set track for cross-country skiers, snowshoers, and dog walkers.
The EagleVail Metro District, Homestake Peak School and the Ski & Snowboard Club Vail have partnered to create the Willow Creek Nordic Training Facility. Located on the Par 3 golf course, this facility is designed to allow young skiers to train on 2.5K of groomed terrain.
The EagleVail Nordic Track and the Willow Creek Training Facility are great assets to the community. Both facilities are open to the public and are free of charge. Signs will be placed in key locations throughout the trail systems indicating which trails are for skiing and which are for multiuse as walking on the “ski only” trails damages the skiing surface. Please be respectful and follow ALL signs and cleanup after your pets.
